Commerce Society

The society organized a talk on ‘Career Opportunities in Financial Services. The main speaker was Shri R.K.Mishra, Divisional Manager, Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. Mr. Ravinder Goel, Dept. of Commerce also delivered a talk on W.T.O.  The talks were very useful and informative for the students.

The society organized an Inter-College Commerce Quiz Competition on February 12, 2008. There were 12 teams from various colleges of Delhi University who participated in the competition. The competition consisted of  three stages viz qualifying round, semi final round and final round. In the final round, teams from Satyawati College (Day) won the first and second prizes, and  Khalsa College won the third prize.

All these activities of the society were ably guided by Dr. B.K.Grover, Teacher-in-charge of the department and the other faculty members Mr. A.Ravichandran, Dr. Vibha Garg and Ms. Shefali Bhasin.
