Eligibility Conditions

1      There is no minimum age for admission to undergraduate courses in the college.

2       Applicants must have passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) scheme of C.B.S.E or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Delhi.

3      Candidates for B.A. Programme / B.Com. Pass  must have secured an aggregate of minimum 40% marks in the preceding qualifying examination (see 3.2) to be considered for admission. It is desirable that they should have studied the optional subjects at +2 level. (3.2)

4       For Honours Courses, the candidates must have secured an aggregate of minimum 45% at + 2 level.

5    B.A. (Hons.) Economics : Candidates must have studied Maths and English at +2 level.

6       B.A. (Hons.) English : Candidates must have passed Elective English at +2 level securing at least 55% marks.

or

        Candidates must have passed Core English at +2 level securing at least 60% marks.

7       B.Com. (Hons.) : Candidates must have studied maths as a subject at +2 level. In addition they should have studied Accountancy, Commerce, Economics and English. Science Stream students may be admitted subject to a deduction of 2% marks for every relevant subject not studied.

8.    The college reserves  right to withdraw or keep   in abeyance any paper or course for which the response is inadequate and / or conformity to required standards is considered lacking. In honours courses only those optional papers are offered which form part of the teaching programme in the college.
