INFORMATION FOR NEW STUDENTS

 

 1     A student wishing to withdraw his/her name from the rolls of the college must    submit an application duly countersigned by his/her parent/guardian. At the time of   withdrawal, he/she will be required to clear all his/her dues and surrender his/her   Identity and Library Cards. Refund, if any, will be made according to the University rules.

        

2     Students can also avail Railway Concession for travel to home town during  vacations. To avail this facility they shall have to declare their home town at the time of admission in the college.

 

3      There is a canteen in the college where tea, coffee, cold drink and light snacks are provided at reasonable rates.

        

4     Students are expected to see the College Notice Board regularly.  Ignorance of any notice will not be accepted as a plea for any delay in any matter.

 

5       The college office telephone is not meant for students’ use.

        

6      Students are required to park their vehicles only at the stand near the main gate of the college.

 

7      Any information desired from the office should be sought from the counter during the time prescribed for the same.

 

8     For any grievance, students are advised first to meet the appropriate teacher concerned. Only if they think that their grievances have not been redressed should they meet the Principal.

 

9    Students are warned not to use unfair means during University examinations. As per rules the punishment is very severe for such offences.

          

10    The office functions from 12 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. All Dealings with students will be    restricted to 4.00 p.m.- 7.00 p.m., Monday to Firday.

 

11    Proper decorum and discipline is expected to be maintained in the class room.
